We do not currently provide Services to clients whose matters are governed solely by the laws of other jurisdictions. Availability is subject to practitioner capacity; we will advise at the point of enquiry if a service is unavailable.

All content on this website — including text, design, images, and written advice notes produced for your matter — is owned by or licensed to Setia Guard. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use advice notes and written summaries produced for your matter for your own personal and non-commercial purposes.

You must not reproduce, distribute, or publish any content from this website without our prior written consent.

6. Payment Terms

Fees are payable in Malaysian Ringgit (RM) as quoted at the time of engagement. Payment is due before or at the time of consultation unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept payment by bank transfer and cash at our office.

Cancellation and refunds: If you cancel a consultation appointment giving at least 48 hours notice, no fee is payable. Cancellations with less than 48 hours notice may incur a cancellation fee of up to RM 150. Once appeal preparation work has commenced, fees are not refundable for work already completed.

Either party may terminate a service engagement by giving written notice to the other. If you terminate before work is complete, fees will be payable for work carried out to the date of termination. If we terminate due to your breach of these Terms, no refund will be due for work already completed.

Provisions relating to intellectual property, liability, indemnification, and dispute resolution survive termination of the agreement.

12. Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. In the event of a dispute, we encourage both parties to attempt an informal resolution in the first instance by contacting us at [email protected].

If informal resolution is not possible, disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia. For complaints about professional conduct, you may also contact the Malaysian Bar Council.
